On 03.01.2025, the Personal Data Protection Authority of Türkiye (“Authority”) published on its website the amounts of the Administrative Fines regulated in Article 18 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“Law No 6698”) increased by the revaluation rate determined and announced for the years 2017-2025 in accordance with the provisions of the seventh paragraph of Article 17 of the Misdemeanor Law No. 5326, effective from the beginning of each calendar year, in accordance with the provisions of the repeated Article 298 of the Tax Procedure Law No. 213 for that year.
The administrative fine amounts increased according to the 43.93% revaluation rate for 2025 are as follows, effective from 01.01.2025:
